Celebrate the un-best.

The Concours d’Lemons returns to the Seaside City Hall lawn to ruin Monterey Auto Week. Hoopties of all description compete for the coveted “Worst of Show” trophy awarded by capricious and bribery prone celebrity judges. Spectators are free, that way you get what you pay for and perhaps a little less.

We want good examples of bad cars and bad examples of good cars. Got a Pinto, Pacer or Gremlin? Yer in. Have a hooptie Rolls Royce? Yer in! have a sense of humor about yourself and your car? Yer in! Have a totally mundane car but have a great theme/costume/decoration combo? Yer in too!

Can you bribe the judges?
Most certainly. We encourage it. Get creative with your bribes. BBQ lunch. Bake a cake. Write a song about your car. Do an interpretive dance. The more memorable the better.

What will you win?
Shame. And some hinky trophy we slapped together the night before from stuff we found at the craft store.
