This year is the 18th Annual Vettes for Vets fundraiser for the Minneapolis Veterans Home.

The Home provides 24-hour skilled-care nursing to approximately 300 veterans, has 50 short-term care beds and its adult day care center cares for up to 30 veterans five days a week, 8 hours a day.

While the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs provides funding for care, the recreation budget relies solely on donations from veteran support organizations like Classic Corvettes of Minnesota.

Events include, fishing and boating trips, shopping, trips to museums and plays and the State Fair as well as larger at-home events such as Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Veterans Appreciation Day, and countless smaller events.
