We’ve got a new year coming up and new projects in mind to make Car Show Radar bigger and better than ever. In order to do so, we are putting our coveted Radar Car up for sale to some lucky buyer.
Here are the details:
1964 Galaxie 500 Club Coupe. You don’t see this model much anymore because it has the rounded rear window. All original except for new wheel setup. Third owner car in good condition with 352-V8 4bbl. New springs and shocks, rebuilt period-correct carb, new intake manifold seals, recent front end work including alignment, camber adjustment and idler arm bushings, recently rebuilt power steering control valve and high pressure lower hose. Rebuilt power brake booster, new Master Cylinder. New trunk liner. Dealer installed under-dash A/C converted to 134 (by the previous owner). AM radio and front and back speakers work. Drives very well. Just turned 100,000 original miles. Car garaged for 21 years. 2nd owner put in new gas tank and rebuilt the water pump and carb. I’ve done more mechanical work to make it dependable and safe. Great patina on the paint and the interior is in amazing shape with no rips or tears in the seats. The original set of color-keyed 14′ wheels with wide whitewalls are included with the car.
