2015 National Rat Rod Build Off

This event will be hosted my Rat Rods United (an international rat rod organization) and Cherry’s Belles (a local pinup group).  The date will be October 24, 2015 and will be held at the north gate mall parking lot in Lafayette, LA. The area of the lot between the Charter School and Planet Fitness will be reserved for the show. The event will be a rat rod build off. We are encouraging any and every one to participate and build a rat rod or rat bike for the contest. We have numerous categories for the contest because we want everyone to be able to participate. Contestants may spend as much or as little money as they prefer to spend on their build.

Each contestant will pay a $25 entry fee that will be go towards the cost of the show. All proceeds will be donated to the charities. We are expecting a large crowd so we will be dividing proceeds between Heels for Combat Boots and Healing House.

Aside from the cars we will have a kids costume contest, a dog costume contest, a beard contest, trunk or treating, live music, a DJ, belly dancers, fire poi performers, dozens of vendors and artists, food trucks, and more!!
