We are excited to return to Lafayette, Louisiana for the 2nd Annual Bayou Round Up – October 7 & 8th, 2016.
The Kontinentals, who have been hosting unique hot rod and custom car show entertainment in Austin, Texas since 2002 with the Lonestar Round Up, and vintage drag racing at the Day of the Drags – are excited now to add a new fall car show, the Bayou Round Up in Lafayette, Louisiana.
The Bayou Round Up showcases the fantastic music, food and culture of Louisiana combined with a great big gathering of incredible hot rods, custom cars, artists, vendors and more. Come explore the unique charm of Lafayette along with the outstanding atmosphere and entertainment you’ve come to expect and enjoy from us.

We’ve brought together tons of cool vintage hot rods and custom cars, special shopping with artists and vendors, great local food and drinks, and all of it with some of the best live music anywhere onstage – its a new experience for Lafayette you won’t want to miss! AFTER THE SHOW! – SATURDAY DRIVE-IN
A special screening of American Graffiti will be shown at 7:30pm at Moncus Park at the Horse Farm Park (2901 Johnston St) just down the street from Blackham Coliseum.
The drive-in movie experience will be authentic, complete with jumbo screen and tune-in car radio audio (as well as outdoor loudspeakers). DJ’s will spin music from the soundtrack beforehand and plenty of food and drink options will be on-hand for purchase. Plan for “dinner & a movie” after a day out at Blackham. Discount admission for Bayou Round Up cars.
Registered Bayou Round Up attendees will be just $10 per car

THE SUNDAY CRUISE TO PAT’S FISHERMAN’S WHARF
Take a cruise starting at 11am at the Hilton Garden Inn Lafayette-Cajundome (2350 W Congress Street) and making its way up a scenic drive up to Pat’s Fisherman’s Wharf (1008 Henderson Levee Rd. Breaux Bridge, LA) historic dancehall and restaurant on the bayou.
