Saturday, July 23rd and Sunday, July 24th mark the 7th annual Misselwood Concours d’Elegance. The Misselwood Estate, located on the campus of Endicott College, will run the two-day event that has become known as one of the most scenic Concours events on the east coast.
Saturday, July 23rd will consist of the Tour d’Elegance; a 50 mile scenic drive following the famous roads of Massachusetts’ North Shore, through the towns of Beverly, Manchester, Hamilton, Wenham, and Essex. The tour will begin at approximately 8:30am, and includes a stop at Beverly’s Lyons Park (Dane Street Beach) from 9:15am to 10:30am. A light champagne luncheon will then occur at the conclusion of the tour at the Misselwood Estate between 12pm and 2pm. During the luncheon, all cars will be displayed at Misselwood, and is free of charge to observe. The day will conclude with a casual dinner and reception to mix and mingle in a casual setting.
On Sunday, July 24th, the Misselwood Estate will be filled with around 100 concours caliber vehicles, including our oldest selection, a 1922 Detroit Electric, and a 1954 Cunningham C3 Coupe, which has been honored with 2nd in class and 1st in class at the world famous Pebble Beach and Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. Lincoln and Chrysler Imperial are the featured marques, due to their history of style, luxury, and class. Along with the cars, there will be featured fashion shows, fancy hat contests, art exhibits, music, food, and more. Tickets for the 7th Annual Misselwood Concours d’Elegance are currently on sale for $20 general admission, $75 VIP tickets, and all children under 12 are free. Tickets for general admission only will be sold at the door for $25. All proceeds raised go directly towards student scholarships at Endicott College.
