It’s that time of year! I want to invite you to the 2024 Injured Police Officers Fund Classic Car and Emergency Vehicle Show. It will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, in Boulder City.

The IPOF (IPOF.Vegas) was formed in 1982 to help reduce the financial burden suffered by Police Officers and their families in the event of a line of duty injury or death by providing monetary assistance to these officers and their families. This is one of our major fundraisers. The IPOF consists of 16 police agencies in Southern Nevada with participation from the California Highway Patrol.

The car show is held on the grass, surrounded by trees at Veterans Memorial Park and you can expect to see 300 cars of various styles. Las Vegas is known for its extensive car collector population and classics, customs, one-offs, roadsters, low riders, and others will populate that grass. This year I will have participation from the USMC, US Army, US Navy, and USAF with some of their military vehicles.

Besides live music, raffles, and great food, you can meet Adrian Zmed from T J Hooker and Erik Estrada from CHIPS. Our entertainment is by Michael Brain singer/guitarist who is currently;ly appearing at various Las Vegas venues.

You will see the Batmobile, the Back to the Future Delorean, a Star Wars Speedster, and other specialty vehicles. At this moment, there will be about 15 restored police vehicles. In addition, all the local police agencies will be there including the United States Park Police. We will also have an expanded Code Three parade in and outside of the park.

At 1030 our formal dedication ceremony to honor the Fallen Heroes and all active and retired First Responders will take place. A Police Department Color Guard will post the colors and expect a surprise from the United States Air Force. I am working on other surprises to make your day more interesting.
