This is our 1st Annual Benefit.  As a way of paying it forward, we will be
putting on an annual benefit for someone in need of help.

Thank you to everyone who is helping out with this Benefit. On Sept. 13th, Scott’s journey and miracle started. After having two seizures and loss of mobility on his left side, he was admitted to Mercy on the 23rd and diagnosed by three doctors with an aggressive fast growing cancerous brain tumor. He had surgery on Sept. 30th and when the neurosurgeon opened him up he was surprised to find only an infection. The Neurosurgeon was sure that what he had been looking at in his years of experience was cancer until the moment he actually opened Scott’s skull. He was very elated in that he was able for once to give good news to a brain surgery patient’s family. He told us that “Whatever we were doing (family and friends praying), whatever we had to give him some because he had never seen anything like this before.” Scott is truly blessed and does consider this a miracle as do we all but you can imagine the expense that comes with brain surgery. Thus some friends (and myself) are putting these events together to help with the medical bills. We love you all very much and thank you for all the prayers and support.
