Runge’s Independence Day Celebration is on July 4, 2026, this year. We are planning a larger event in light of our 250th Anniversary. A parade will kick off the festivities around 9:00 AM. The car show will be immediately after the parade with judging between 10:00AM and Noon. Venders and other events will take place throughout the day; The celebrations climax is a really nice fireworks display shortly after dusk. Entry to the Parade is free but the car show will have a $15 fee. All proceeds go to the Changer of Commerce for community improvement.
This is our first year to include a car show and hope to get lots of participation for our community.
