The Lonestar Round Up is a huge outdoor car show and live music festival featuring vintage hot rods and custom cars driven here from all over the country, that has become an annual pilgrimage to Austin for folks from all over the world.
Held on the rolling grounds of the Travis County Expo Center just minutes east of downtown Austin, the Round Up is a unique celebration of cars, culture and music that just has to be experienced in person.
THE ROUND UP GARAGE CRAWL
Starts Friday, April 8th at 7:30am in Austin and cruises on to see lots of cool local garages and projects – then caravan over to Dell Children’s Hospital to let the kids there have a look at the rides, before heading over to the Expo Center – details soon!
TRAVIS COUNTY EXPO CENTER
The car show kicks off at the Expo Center! Pre-registered attendees can pickup their registration packets all day at the front gate. Round Up swap meet begins and vending areas are open. The art show is open all day in the indoor vending area. $15 general admission wristbands on sale to the public, good for admission all weekend – kids under 12 are FREE.
Saturday, April 9th
The car show keeps rolling at the Expo Center! Any pre-registered attendees who haven’t picked up their registration, can pickup their packets at the entrance to the show parking. Round Up swap meet begins and vending areas are open. The art show is open all day in the indoor vending area.
