Festival-goers enjoy an array of activities throughout the day, including a silent auction inside the courthouse, fine arts/crafts vendors, hands-on arts/crafts and games, Chalk Fest and live music.
This year the Chalk Fest will bring some fantastic chalk drawings to add spark and life to the sidewalks downtown. Artists of all ages can contribute to a fantastic display to stroll through during the event and for days after the fun. Look for artist entry info below!
Live music starts at 10 am with Gumbo Brothers playing Zydeco Boogie, followed by The Silvertones playing some Texas Blues band at 11:15 am, and The Lowdown playing Soul/Rock/Funk favorites at 1 pm. Come listen and look while enjoying festival foods and the great dining at many downtown dining establishments.
