Ruckus at the Rec Camp

Goodfellow AFB is hosting a great event we call “The Ruckus at the Rec Camp”.

The Car and Motorcycle show starts at 3:00pm, vehicles from 1900- present day will compete in their category and have the opportunity to win T-Shirts, Dash Plaques and Trophies. The best part is that we will have Horny Mike and Ryan Evans from the History Channel’s Counting Cars here to answer questions and interact with the crowd. Winners for the Car and Motorcycle show will be announced at 8:00 p.m.

We will kick the day off at 8:00am with a Chili Cook-off, some of the best chili/brisket and bean cooks throughout the military will be competing for the top place and an opportunity to compete the Terlingua International Chili Competition.

We will top the night off with the number one Texas Country Artist Mark McKinney in an outdoor concert at the Rec Camp located on Lake Nasworthy. 

Cost to enter the Car/Motorcycle show is $25.00, $10.00 each additional vehicle, and limited to 3 vehicles Registration includes a car kit/goodie bags/ the first 50 entrants will also receive a t-shirt 

Prizes include dash plaques, trophies and gift cards
