Hop in and travel to Grand Prairie for the thirtieth annual Texas Country Reporter Festival this spring—Saturday, March 28! Shop vendors and artisans—some of which you’ve seen featured on the show! Enjoy food trucks, free concert, and more. We’re bringing the backroads to you for one day only, so don’t miss it.

Kick off the day with our first annual “Backroads to Main Street” Parade! Help us line the parade route as we cheer on community leaders and stars of the show. Led by The Flag itself, the parade will begin on West Church Street and participants will make their way down Dolores Huerta Drive, ending on Main Street in front of City Hall. The parade will be capped off by the “I’d Rather Be Road Trippin’” Vintage Car Show and the first musical act of the day will take the stage at noon to kick off the rest of the fest! Stay tuned to find out who our first Grand Marshal will be!

The car show will close out the “Backroads to Main Street” Parade around 11:45am and cars will park along Main Street where they will be parked for the duration of the festival (until about 7pm). Please be prepared to hang around and chat with interested guests!

Nothing says “I take backroads” quite like a vintage car. Let’s celebrate the joy of being behind the wheel! Enjoy a showcase of vintage rides, from pickup trucks to low-riders. Applications close February 27.
