LETS RACE!

The Day of the Drag Race is a weekend dedicated to vintage speed.  You’ll see early style hot rods, race cars, gassers, dragsters and more tearing down the same old dragstrip in the heart of Texas that has been raced on for decades.

Its a scene that has to be experienced in person, a bit of living history – we hope you will join us for this special event.

ADMISSION: SPECTATORS & RACERS

Friday, July 29th

Friday-only admisson $10 per person at the gate

Saturday, July 30th

Saturday-only admisson $15 per person at the gate

Joining us both days?

Buy a weekend wristband at the gate to see all the action on Friday and Saturday for just $20

•       Bring Your Own Beer – coolers are allowed

•       Soda & Food Concessions onsite

•       Free Parking

•       Free Camping overnight (no hookups)

Kids under 12 are FREE

FRIDAY JULY 29TH

3pm – gates open

6-10pm – Night races! test and tune is open for qualified racers

SATURDAY JULY 30TH

9am – Gates open

10am – Time trials start

1-2pm – Racers are grouped into classes in the staging lanes by the times they are running (see classes page for details)

2pm – Eliminations begin

Exhibition Runs – dragsters, gassers, altereds will run throughout the day.
