Hot off the press today is the flyer for our Celebrate Waupun Car Show for June 25, 2023, at Harris Mill Park, 300 North Forest Street. This will be our 9th year and excited to promote our city and the collector car hobby. Some things have changed as we will have Casey Despres Koehler of Go-Dutch Solutions of Waupun as our event food vendor. She is excited to be offering her food at our event and we welcome her.

We have lost three supporters of our event since last year’s show. Larry Southard of Southard Automotive was an active helper and door prize supporter. A.J. Strook was a lifelong car lover and attended many car show events before our show to hand out flyers. Nancy Vanderkin was active in many community events and helped us solicit business owners’ for door prizes. We have a small volunteer group and always welcome more to join us for this special day. This event cannot occur without the support of business owners, volunteers, and show cars with their owners.

There are few “FREE” car shows around anymore. We have this plus many other activities. Last year we had a record of 150 vehicles. Our volunteers and I actively seek comments to improve our event. Please spread the word to make this year another success.
